Always love El Provocon for lunch or dinner especially for the amazing lunch special. I usually get chicken and yellow rice but lately their chicken has been a lil on the dry side. No worries though because their stew chicken never disappoint! Super affordable and never scared to try anything from their menu.

Went for the $3.99 lunch special. For the lunch special, I believe it's just chicken. Lunch special runs from 11am-2pm, Monday's to Friday's. You also get rice and a small salad. The chicken was freshly cook. You can pick between white or yellow rice (I recommend yellow). Salad isn't anything to rave about, just makes you feel good that you ate some greens for the day. I believe they use a vinegar-type dressing for the salad. After talking to the cashier about the drink options, I ordered their tamarindo drink ($4) which actually turned out to be the thing I like best from here. The drink was sweet for my taste but I think it was worth it. The cashier told me they make their own juices. Line was short and the workers move fast. Parking can be hard to find at times but you could always park street.
